5. •Never argue with the referee – control your temper at all times
   

6. •Be a good sport – applaud good play whether from your team or your opponent

8. •Recognise the efforts made by coaches, parents, match officials and administrators.
   

Parent/Spectator Code of Conduct

1. •Be familiar with the coaching and training programme in order to ensure your child is fully involved
   

2. •Applaud the performance of both teams
   

3. •Provide positive feedback in training and matches
   

4. •Encourage all players, irrespective of ability
   

5. •Be positive with the referee
   

6. •Acknowledge the efforts of the referee
   

7. •Let players play their game, not your game
   

8. •Praise efforts, not results
   

9. •Set an example for the players
   

10. •Be aware of the RFU Child Protection Policy and Procedures in relation to verbal and emotional abuse.
